Your first visit to our dental office is unlike any other, as it begins with a comprehensive examination by one of our experienced dentists. During this welcoming introduction to our practice, you will also become acquainted with the advanced equipment we use to create beautiful, natural-looking smiles.
Expect your initial visit to last approximately one to two hours. We will take the time to learn about your past dental experiences and understand your expectations for the future.
Initial Examination
The initial examination includes a thorough assessment:
Analysis of Your DentitionWe examine existing restorations, check for active decay, and evaluate occlusal wear. We also assess the appearance of your smile, including teeth color and the health of prior dental work.
Evaluation of Periodontal HealthWe carefully examine the tissues surrounding your teeth for any early signs of periodontal disease.
Bite Alignment AssessmentWe check for signs of jaw dysfunction by evaluating your bite alignment.
Oral Cancer ScreeningA crucial part of every examination is screening for oral cancer to ensure your overall health.
Our doctors will also capture digital photos of your smile and any areas of concern. These photos serve as a visual record and can illustrate improvements if you opt for cosmetic procedures in the future.
Following the examination, our doctors will discuss their findings with you. Using advanced technology, they can display any identified issues on a computer monitor via an intraoral camera. Instant digital x-rays will reveal any hidden dental problems.
Our doctors will recommend any necessary restorative procedures and can discuss options for enhancing your smile with cosmetic dentistry, such as porcelain veneers or lumineers. For each treatment, they will explain the benefits and show you demonstration models, along with before-and-after photos of previous patients.
Once a personalized treatment plan is agreed upon, we will provide estimates for the proposed dental procedures. Our team will assist you in scheduling appointments and coordinating treatment timelines to fit your schedule and preferences.

Dental Care for Workers’ Comp and Personal Injury Cases in Burbank
Abri Dental’s Burbank office treats patients with dental trauma from workplace injuries and personal injury claims, including chipped, knocked-out, or fractured teeth and jaw or TMJ injuries. The office is located in Burbank’s Media District, near Toluca Lake and within reach of the greater San Fernando Valley, and treatment is available whether the case is being coordinated through a medical provider network, an insurance adjuster, or an attorney.
For Attorneys and Case Managers
Accepted claims, liens, and letters of protection
Abri Dental coordinates dental care and records with attorneys, adjusters, and case managers. An accepted claim, a lien, and a letter of protection describe different aspects of a case and are reviewed separately:
Accepted workers’ compensation claim: The claims administrator has accepted the work injury claim. Our team verifies coverage and any required authorization for the proposed dental treatment.
Dental lien: An arrangement that allows a dental provider to furnish treatment without requiring full payment at the time of service, with payment to be pursued through the applicable legal or claims process. The availability, terms, and payment of a lien depend on the circumstances of each individual case.
Letter of protection (LOP): A written arrangement used in a personal injury case that addresses payment of treatment bills from a future recovery, subject to its terms. It is not the same as workers’ comp claim acceptance and should not be used interchangeably with a lien.
If you’re coordinating care for a client, our team can work directly with you on documentation and treatment planning. You can meet our dentists to review provider credentials and specialties before referring a case.
For Workers’ Comp Patients
Understand your coverage and next steps
If you’ve been hurt on the job and aren’t sure whether your dental treatment is covered, Abri Dental’s Burbank office can help you understand your options under your employer’s workers’ comp coverage.
Care may include evaluation of dental trauma, root canal treatment, tooth restoration or replacement, and treatment planning for jaw injuries. Call with your claim number and adjuster’s contact details so our team can review the next steps.
If you were injured in an accident and aren’t sure whether your dental treatment is covered, Abri Dental’s Burbank office can help you understand your options under a personal injury claim.
Abri Dental works to get patients scheduled quickly once coverage is confirmed, so an accident-related injury doesn’t sit unaddressed.

Why Burbank Patients and Referrers Choose Abri Dental
Abri Dental’s Burbank office is staffed by the same in-house team available across the practice: general and cosmetic dentists, periodontists, endodontists, orthodontists, and oral and maxillofacial surgeons.
When the needed treatment is available and clinically appropriate, our team can coordinate the initial examination, root canal treatment, restorations, implants, bite or alignment correction, and oral surgery within Abri Dental instead of sending the patient to a separate dental practice. An outside referral may still be needed for care beyond our team’s scope. In-house coordination does not remove workers’ comp authorization or MPN requirements.
We keep patients and referring professionals informed about treatment and records. Workers’ compensation claim status, any lien, and any letter of protection are reviewed according to their distinct requirements.
If you have questions about coverage, the dental FAQ page covers common questions about insurance and appointments, or you can directly.

Does Abri Dental treat workers’ compensation dental cases in Burbank?
Yes, Abri Dental’s Burbank office treats dental injuries related to workplace accidents, including cases coordinated through a medical provider network or insurance adjuster. Because periodontists, endodontists, and oral and maxillofacial surgeons are all on staff, most cases can go from initial evaluation through specialty treatment at the same office, without sending you to a separate practice.
Can an attorney refer a client to Abri Dental on a lien, an accepted claim, or a letter of protection?
Yes, Abri Dental works with attorneys and case managers on dental treatment for personal injury and workers’ comp clients, whether the case is a lien, an accepted workers’ comp claim, or a letter of protection from a personal injury attorney. Our team can coordinate directly on documentation and treatment planning for the case.
Does Abri Dental accept patients with a letter of protection?
Yes, Abri Dental’s Burbank office accepts patients being treated under a letter of protection from a personal injury attorney. If your attorney has issued an LOP, our team can coordinate treatment and case documentation directly with their office throughout your care.
What’s the difference between a workers’ comp dental case and a personal injury dental case?
A workers’ comp case involves a dental injury that happened on the job and is typically routed through an employer’s insurance and MPN, while a personal injury case usually involves an accident outside of work and may be represented by an attorney. Abri Dental’s Burbank office treats both, and our team can help clarify which applies to your situation.
Do I need to live in Burbank to be treated there for a workers’ comp or injury case?
No, patients from throughout the San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas are treated at the Burbank office for workers’ comp and personal injury dental cases. Proximity to the office is helpful but not required, especially when a case is already assigned to Abri Dental through a network or referral.
How quickly can an injured worker be seen at Abri Dental’s Burbank office?
Abri Dental works to schedule injured workers quickly once coverage is confirmed. Call our team so we can review your case and get you scheduled as soon as it’s appropriate to do so.

Dental Care for Workers’ Comp and Personal Injury Cases in Beverly Hills
Abri Dental’s Beverly Hills office sits along Restaurant Row on N La Cienega Blvd, within walking distance of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the Beverly Center, and treats patients throughout Beverly Hills and the surrounding Westside. We see chipped, knocked-out, and fractured teeth along with jaw and TMJ injuries, regardless of whether the case comes through a medical provider network, an insurance adjuster, or an attorney.
For Attorneys and Case Managers
Accepted claims, liens, and letters of protection
Every case that comes to our Beverly Hills office falls into one of three categories, and we handle each on its own terms rather than treating them as interchangeable:
Accepted workers’ compensation claim: the claims administrator has already accepted the injury, and our team confirms coverage and any authorization the proposed treatment requires.
Dental lien: the office provides treatment without requiring payment up front, with payment pursued afterward through the applicable legal or claims process. Terms vary by case.
Letter of protection (LOP): a personal injury arrangement where the attorney commits to paying treatment costs out of a future settlement. An LOP is separate from workers’ comp claim acceptance and isn’t the same thing as a lien.
Send over the case details and our team will walk through documentation and scheduling with you directly. You can meet our dentists to review credentials before referring.
For Workers’ Comp Patients
Understand your coverage and next steps
Hurt on the job and not sure what’s covered? Our Beverly Hills office can walk you through your options under your employer’s workers’ comp plan. Once we have your claim number and adjuster’s contact information, we can confirm authorization and get you scheduled for the dental care your case calls for, whether that’s an evaluation, a root canal, a restoration, or treatment for a jaw injury.
If an accident left you unsure whether your dental treatment is covered, our Beverly Hills team can review your personal injury claim and explain what’s available to you. Once coverage is confirmed, we move quickly to get you seen so an injury doesn’t go untreated longer than it has to.
Contact our teamReach out and explain your situation, whether you’re the injured party, an adjuster, or a referring attorney.
Coverage verificationWe confirm coverage, checking MPN authorization for workers’ comp cases or verifying a personal injury claim or standard insurance.
Treatment planningWe plan treatment, drawing on general and preventive dentistry for evaluation and pain management and restorative dentistry for fractured or missing teeth or a broken jaw.
DocumentationWe handle documentation, supplying the records attorneys and case managers need to keep the case moving.
Why Beverly Hills Patients and Referrers Choose Abri Dental
Our Beverly Hills office draws on the same specialists as every Abri Dental location: general and cosmetic dentists, a periodontist, an endodontist, an orthodontist, and oral and maxillofacial surgeons. That means a fractured tooth, a jaw injury, and the restoration that follows can often stay with one office instead of bouncing between referrals, though care outside our team’s scope may still require an outside referral, and in-house coordination never bypasses workers’ comp authorization or MPN requirements.
Whether a case is an accepted claim, a lien, or a letter of protection, we track it according to its own requirements and keep both the patient and the referring party informed as treatment moves forward.

Does Abri Dental treat workers’ compensation dental cases in Beverly Hills?
Yes. Our Beverly Hills office treats dental injuries tied to workplace accidents and coordinates directly with the employer’s insurer, adjuster, or MPN. With periodontists, endodontists, and oral and maxillofacial surgeons on staff, a case can typically move from evaluation into specialty treatment without being referred to another practice.
Can an attorney refer a client to Abri Dental on a lien, an accepted claim, or a letter of protection?
Yes. Attorneys and case managers can bring cases to our Beverly Hills office under any of the three arrangements, an accepted workers’ comp claim, a dental lien, or a letter of protection, and our team coordinates documentation and treatment planning directly with the referring office.
Does Abri Dental accept patients with a letter of protection?
Yes. Patients treated under a letter of protection from a personal injury attorney can be seen at our Beverly Hills office, and we coordinate the required documentation directly with the attorney’s office throughout care.
What’s the difference between a workers’ comp dental case and a personal injury dental case?
A workers’ comp case stems from an on-the-job injury and is typically routed through an employer’s insurer and MPN. A personal injury case stems from an accident outside of work and often involves an attorney handling a lien or letter of protection. Our Beverly Hills team treats both and can help clarify which fits your situation.
Do I need to live in Beverly Hills to be treated there for a workers’ comp or injury case?
No. Patients from across the Westside and greater Los Angeles area come to our Beverly Hills office for these cases. Living nearby helps but isn’t required, especially once a case has been assigned to Abri Dental through a network or referral.
How quickly can an injured worker be seen at Abri Dental’s Beverly Hills office?
Once coverage is confirmed, our team moves to get injured workers scheduled as quickly as the case allows. Call with your claim details so we can start that review right away.
